Life like fabric has many threads. The experiences you have and the people who cross your path are your “Threads of Life”, weaving a strong colorful tapestry. Each of us is unique with none of us the same, and that makes each person so amazingly special.
Life is about choice, and the choices we make. It is up to each person to determine their choices along with the benefits as well as the consequences. As children, many or most of our choices were made for us, however as we grow up the number of decisions and choices we have is largely up to you as an individual. Choose to be AMAZING! If you think you are amazing, believe you are amazing, and choose to be amazing, you can an will be amazing. Set your sights on your goals, visualize them, dream them, and achieve them.
Leadership takes initiative, but perhaps the most significant skill for being a great leader is listening. You ALWAYS learn more when you listen and then you can craft your response in a more meaningful way.
Never underestimate the power and significance of your image. People see you most often before they hear you. The image you project is the image you reflect to others. You only have one change to make a first impression; make it count. Your image, often projects the outcome. What are the elements of your Leadership Image? They include: how you speak, act, dress, and communicate. Make certain you are the complete package. This is an area of professional development that I love working with people. Simple changes can make an enormous difference in your career, leadership and life.
When someone asks you to take on responsibility make it your mission to always deliver more than expected. Think in terms of donuts, when asked for a dozen deliver thirteen.
Set your goals, create a plan of action, establish a specific timeline for success, visualize and use all of your senses and imagine your success. To achieve big, you need to dream big. Someone out there is living your life dream, because they took action. That too can be you! Time to take your first steps and keep moving forward.
