Time Out – Life’s Minutes

Make this be a minute you’ll never forget!! We’ve all heard the expression – Make each minute count, but truly what does that mean? Is making a minute a mere: 60 seconds truly worth counting? Have you ever pondered that? Have you ever wondered if it is relevant? After all, what does a minute truly represent? What does a bunch of minutes represent? Any ideas? Here’s a thought… does a minute of time have value?

Yes, for sure, if you are billing by our a minute of time represents a fraction of your hourly cost. Truly a minute is precious. It is more than a kernel, it is as precious as a gold nugget!

What if I said that a minute or more of your time or mine or everyone’s here is priceless? What would you say?

Do you believe it to be true? Why? What is it that makes it so treasured, so valuable and so costly? Hmmm – Do you spend time idly or like to account for it?

Simply put, once spent it is gone. It is something that cannot be replaced in your life. It is gone forever. Think about it! That is hugely powerful! Every minute we fritter away throughout our lives can never be recaptured! Our lives are about moving forward while you can think about the past no one can live in the past because time is about moving forward!

How many minutes do we have in our lives? None of us knows! We all consider life to be precious. You need to think of life as a continuum of precious minutes, not to be wasted. Idle time, sleeping, social media, negative thoughts… Let’s take a moment to think about the ways we waste time and those precious minutes.

Commit to living a life filled with meaning! Commit to living a life filled with meaning! Commit to finding ways to be a better, and happier you.

Perhaps not every hour of every day can be filled that way, even consciously. Starting small step by step or minute by minute is the path for making minutes in your life count! Start with 5 conscious minutes a day to do something very special and build it forward. More is better but conservative and the building is always best. Build more in your life minute by minute. Think of all you can do and make it happen! You can do it!
